The Summer School is the main teaching activity offered by the European Centre of Excellence on the Regulation of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (EURA), funded by the European Commission under the Jean Monnet Action EAC/A05/2017.
The Summer School brings together students and professionals with the most diverse backgrounds. It consists of 40 hours of teaching, a conference with world-renowned speakers, and a seminar as well as lab visits and several social events, in a truly international setting, in the heart of Tuscany, at the top ranked Italian Universitiy.
The Summer School provides students, policy makers, and professionals from different backgrounds with the knowledge and interdisciplinary skills necessary to understand the different legal, economic, ethical, and scientific challenges raised by the development and diffusion of advanced robotics and Artificial Intelligence. The teaching body’s experience over several European and internationally-funded projects – starting with RoboLaw – and the extensive consulting activity for international institutions and policy-makers – including the European Parliament and Commission, the World Economic Forum and OECD – make our Summer School a unique occasion to approach the Regulation of Robotics and the AI field.
