Doctoral Position at the Institute for Ethics in Technology (Hamburg)

The Institute for Ethics in Technology (www.tuhh.de/ethics) at Hamburg University of Technology is seeking a full-time Doctoral Researcher  (pay group 13 TV-L; 100%) for the duration of four years. The successful candidate will engage in an independent research project in areas such as the ethics or philosophy of technology, moral philosophy, legal theory, applied ethics, or the ethics of artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent research under the supervision of Prof. Dr Maximilian Kiener.
• Collaborate with the team as a full member of the Institute for Ethics in Technology.
• Participate in conferences and publish research findings.
• Undertake research visits abroad, including potential collaboration with partners at the University of Oxford.
